I resurrected my love for tawny brown and blue- very Marlboro Country meets Western Chic- I know, simple because this was one of my favorite trends from 2010-2011. I adore the two colors combined for some weird reason as it looks rustic and well, they contrast well and so I wore this outfit on a Sunny Sunday which I traditionally spend with my brother at the Rockwell Mall. Tied my hair up and a big bun as I was too lazy to style my hair down.

I decided to finally wear this sparrow-esque printed maxi dress from Topshop layered under a tied up sleeveless tanktop for a not so quiet boo day with my girl Kato turned Music Trivia Night over at Burgos Circle. I love GNO Wednesdays- it's basically the one night of the week that I go out- and this was a last for me provided I got fever and the flu the next day. (Still recovering, wish me luck!)

I love these boots which I got from the recent SuperSale Bazaar- GIFTS AHOY.. And so my monochromachic streak continues....

Fool's Gold

GOLD JEAN GIRL

I went a little daring and decided to wear the goldest of gold denim jeans I could find for movie night with my boyfriend over at Rockwell. What a statement piece it was. I felt like King Midas literally touched my jeans and turned it to gold. Aside from the heavy Karat feel, the pants were as my boyfriend referred to them, "so very rockstar" and I could not agree more.

As you can see, I kept the look simple and made the jeans the statement of the entire outfit by pairing it with a basic black tanktop. As always (as I usually do) I layered on the necklaces as accessories and wore my favorite pair of DAS zipper shoes to complete the look.
