I went a little daring and decided to wear the goldest of gold denim jeans I could find for movie night with my boyfriend over at Rockwell. What a statement piece it was. I felt like King Midas literally touched my jeans and turned it to gold. Aside from the heavy Karat feel, the pants were as my boyfriend referred to them, "so very rockstar" and I could not agree more.

As you can see, I kept the look simple and made the jeans the statement of the entire outfit by pairing it with a basic black tanktop. As always (as I usually do) I layered on the necklaces as accessories and wore my favorite pair of DAS zipper shoes to complete the look.

NYFW: Herve Leger S/S 2012

Herve Leger will always be a staple and every celebutante and it-girl's go to dress for body con, body fit teeny dresses which will make you definitely suffer, scream and deprived of oxygen all for the sake of curves. A personal favorite of mine, the brand showcased an amazing lineup for its S/S 2012 Collection. Aside from the mainstays- bodycon dresses, Herve Leger sent down the runway were combinations of modern tribal African flavor with a bit of tasteful bondage and S&M. Think the canvas fit dress spiced up and embellished with flashy fringe and metallic hardware for a bit of edginess. The outfits were also accessorized with vampy, strappy sandals and the occasional tough-girl motorcycle jacket. Herve Leger’s collection proved that it is possible to improve upon what you’ve already deemed to be perfection – and that it can be a wise gamble to take your chic aesthetic into a bit more of a darker territory, with eye-catching results.

Galaxy Bounce

Lazy day outfit, as usual, in black and silver. Nothing is easier to come up with than a shiny metallic detail dress (I think this was meant to be a shirt though), studded fringed stuff and metallic shoes. Keeping this blog as concise and simple as possible. It was a simple outfit.
