Tangerine Dream.
(Top: Zara | Bralet: La Senza | Jeans: Zara | Necklace: Nicole Whisenhunt | Shoes: Tyler | Bag: Louis Vuitton | Belt: Vintage)

Contrasting warm and cool tones in this simple denim outfit for my pre-birthday dinner + pre-celebration. I always love contrasting orange with blue. Each time a new year dawns, we would search for what’s new, what’s in and out in almost everything and the official color of the Year of the Dragon. 2012 Color: Tango Tangerine – “a spirited reddish orange, continues to provide the energy boost we need to recharge and move forward”. This subtle orange tone complements a lot of skin tones. Since tangerine tango is a bright color, pair it with a more neutral or basic shade like black or nude to keep your look balanced. You can use tangerine tango-colored accessories like necklaces, purses, and shoes to brighten up your normal look.

Country Strong.
(Top: Topshop | Leopard Belt: Vintage | Skirt: Forever21 | Shoes: Zara | Bag: Topshop)

I resurrected my love for tawny brown and blue- very Marlboro Country meets Western Chic- I know, simple because this was one of my favorite trends from 2010-2011. I adore the two colors combined for some weird reason as it looks rustic and well, they contrast well and so I wore this outfit on a Sunny Sunday which I traditionally spend with my brother at the Rockwell Mall. Tied my hair up and a big bun as I was too lazy to style my hair down.

PS: I am selling this skirt AND MORE (Read: CLOTHES, SHOES, BAGS, ACCESSORIES) at this weekend's BLOGGERS UNITED II Bazaar so do come by and SHOP SHOP SHOP!

Missing you like candy.
(Dress: Glitterati | Belt: Vintage | Shoes: DAS | Bag: Louis Vuitton)

I never feel as pretty as I do when I'm in PINK.
Pink definitely is my favorite crayon.
(Cue in Aerosmith)

Stories are like genies…They can carry us into and though our sorrows. Sometimes they burn, sometimes they dance, sometimes they weep, sometimes they sing. Like genies, everyone has one. Like genies, sometimes we forget that we do.
