I collect sunglasses. If I were to be asked what one piece of fashion accessory I have an extensive collection of aside from shoes, I would have to say--- SUNGLASSES. I am so absolutely obsessed! And this is rather an exceptional pair I got my hands on....

As seen on the Prada spring/summer 2011 catwalk, these limited edition frames are characterised by rococo curls and contrasting colours. We at Sunglasses Shop adore these fabulously-sized shades. Not only are they bang-on-trend, but the embossed Prada logo is oh so chic adding a luxe touch to any outfit. Only 500 pairs of these frames are available worldwide so be quick, they’re bound to sell out. Fast.

I Covet: Miu Miu’s Noir sunglasses

I am absolutely in love with the angular shapes of the Miu Miu Noir’s and think that the matte black Noir’s have my name on them – check out more photos of the sunglasses below, include the current Miu Miu face Hailee Steinfeld.

Day 26: The Future's So Bright....

I was feeling very '50s this day so I decided to dress up all Mad Men and Pleasantville for a Manic Monday which started out with a routine weekly visit to the hospital... (Yes, I wore this to the hospital! I realize that when I am fretting over something or feel bad or am forced to do something, I compensate by dressing up...never down... for the occasion.) It's one of those things where I think, since I have no choice but to do it, even if I do not want to, might as well dress up and go out all the way. Besides, maybe a pretty outfit might boost my mood and make me feel good somehow. (I'm superficial, whatever!)

The skirt was the main pretty piece in this look. I do not exactly remember which vintage store I got it from (Yes, every once in a while, I do adore vintage items too!) but the colors, the print and the pleats (not to mention the shape) is just so amazing. I realized that it went so perfectly with an old unworn Forever 21 blouse I've had for years and have long since forgotten about. Accessorized with a pair of sunnies (what's a hospital visit without really big sunglasses right?--sorry, I am trying to be optimistic about this whole thing) and a simple pair of suede peep toe pumps circa 2006.

All I can say is the outfit worked! It did boost my mood a bit and I felt quite positive that day!
I even bought two new March 2011 magazines featuring two of the most in demand pop stars on the cover. I love March issue magazines as they are thick and very worth what I pay for it.
Who do you love more? It's the battle of the magazine covers... Katy Perry for Elle U.S. and a pink haired Lady Gaga for Vogue U.S.... who rocked the cover better?

I decided to go back to military chic to meet up with girl friends from High School for my "lunch" treat for my 24th birthday and at the same time to bid farewell our bride to be, Steph who will be migrating to the U.S. where she's getting married this April! (So excited for her new journey!) It's funny how some things never seem to change then one day you just realize you're at a completely different place in life. I'm sure that hold true for her as she will take on the occupation of wife soon (I couldn't be happier for you, sweetie!) As for me, I am just loving things as they are....

It was a wedding dedicated day as I went to the couturier who will be making our entourage gowns after our power lunch to have my measurements taken, this time for my Maid of Honor dress for my sister's wedding. Talk about busy! I missed wearing majority of my outfit from Glitterati so I decided to do so today. Too bad that despite the strong front the outfit entails, I failed miserably on impulse shopping and bought a pair of Prada sunnies after seeing it in like 5 minutes. I didn't even think, I just swiped. I don't think that's such tactical army-like behavior. But I love it so I guess it's all worth it?
