What made you want to try this trend?
I love animal prints but it does have the tendency to be quite vampy when overdone. Once named one of the worst trends in the '90s, it has since then made a come back and eventually, I got to build up the courage to be bold enough to try the print.

How do you build your outfit around it?
I try not to over-do it. This time, I chose an animal print maxi skirt from one of my favorite brands, Moonshine and paired it with a plain black loose tee. I kept my look very boho chic as I was in a maxi skirt and as much as possible avoided wearing the print top to toe. Basically I kept all else basic.

How do you make the look your own?
Well, I did natural looking makeup and a bohemian hairstyle which I always do. I love matching my makeup with my outfits since I think an overall look keeps the outfit consistent. I also edged it up with my signature studded belt to cinch the skirt.

How do you balance your outfit to avoid making it look over-the-top?
Keep the look simple by not wearing the print head to toe. Make the print stand out by pairing it with classics and basic pieces. Minimalist is key.

How do you accessorize animal prints?
I love animal prints with red. But for this look, I chose black since I was feeling quite edgy and rocker chic that day. I contrasted the “wild” print with a twist of studs.

Can you give tips on how to wear this trend?
- Simplicity is key.
- Focus on one focal point as your accent.
- Do not go animal print from head to toe.
- The print is bold enough, don't over do it.

How would you wear it during the day, night, to the beach, to a party, to work?
Day: With a loose tank top and gladiator sandals
Night: Probably with a dark-toned top, clutch bag and heels.
Party: With a bustier/corset, strappy heels and a statement clutch.
Beach: With a black bikini top and wedges
To work: I'd choose a more formal dressy top, like a crisp button down top.
