Pink Tulle.
(Dress: Mango | Bag: Vintage | Belt: Vintage | Shoes: US | Corsage: Topshop)

I wore a girly, feminine and dreamy dress I bought from Mango as part of my '50s inspired dressing up streak (very conservative, classic and clean) and I adored this tulle beaded dress which looks absolutely delicate (and reminds me of cotton candy). I dressed it up with a beautiful gold clutch o add to the evening effect and paired it with this super pretty pair of heels with matching sequins (they magically match the dress surprisingly).

(Aren't the details just lovely?)

And then the shoes....

I love this pair of shoes- stunning, perfect for cocktail parties but in my practice and quest for prudence and to avoid being the classic hoarder that I am I will have to let these babies go--- Get a chance to grab this pair and other fabulous brand new and once worn pieces at tomorrow's Blogger's United Bazaar!

See you there!!!

xx,JL

Ruby Red Dress.
Dress: Glitterati
Shoes: Lanvin x H&M
Clutch: Louis Vuitton Epi Leather
Pearls: Mikimoto

Class is an aura of confidence that is being sure without being cocky. Class has nothing to do with money. Class never runs scared. It is self-discipline and self-knowledge. It's the sure footedness that comes with having proved you can meet life. At the end of the day, I have today, I have yet to meet life, but I do not run scared. Someone once said, “Know when to tune out, if you listen to too much advice you may wind up making other peoples mistakes.”

Wore Valentino Red (which is my new favorite color) for the Prive Fashion Awards Nomination night at Members Only. I had a pretty hectic day and was so tired to attend. However, since I promised by BFF/business partner that I was going, I had to overcompensate... by dressing all up. External glamor was needed for me to survive the night and the invitation did say formal, after all. And so, I whipped out my favorite satin dress with a beautiful bow belt detail, paired that with my crystal heeled Lanvin x H&M bow pumps and accessorized with pearls to create an elegant look. I was semi-inspired by the Oscars/ awards season that just wrapped up that night, which saved me from an outfit catastrophe (Thank God!)

The arsenal: pearls, crystal heels, patent and epi leather, bow shoes and all that jazz!

Born Lippy: Me and my BFF Nina in matching blood-stained red lips.

I am feeling quite positive and bright and shiny the past few days, which is a relief, considering how down and out I've been last week! Here's something I'd like to share:
"If I were asked to give what I consider the single most useful bit of advice for all humanity it would be this: Expect trouble as an inevitable part of life and when it comes, hold you head high, look it squarely in eye and say, 'This too shall pass, I will be bigger than you. You cannot defeat me."
