Silver Lining.

Went with the S/S 2011 Cat Eye Trend and channeled my inner Kitty Galore as I wore these extremely pointed black Cat Eye Glassses from Retrocity.com which according to my research is also available at Asos.com. I love the shades and since I had errands and a parlor appointment to go to, I put my hair up in a very tight bun and wore it to compliment the extreme and severe shape of my sunnies. Wore a more laidback silver/ gray look with a striped glitter shirt from Zara and a pair of high waisted shorts from Topshop (circa 2006).

I kept my makeup minimal as I didn't want to get to carried away with the already statement shades so just chose a bold lip color (my favorite shade)- HOT PINK. And I was ready to hit the city!

GRAY + BEIGE is ALL THE RAGE.

Taking a break from all my dark hued and/or color pop inspired outfits, I decided to go all fresh and neutral in a pastel palette which consisted mostly of gray and beige (in the lightest tone possible). I have always been a fan of the color combination but never really got the chance to wear it as I am rarely in muted tones and I love to make a statement with my outfits but when I wore this, I realize, subtlety is also a great statement to make. I have had these ruched leggings from Topshop for the longest time, I forgot about them but as I was desperate for leg coverage (due to the excessive bruising I've been getting lately, which I am trying to cure), I found these stashed away in my closet and decided it was time to whip 'em out and take it for a spin around town. I wore it with a Love Vintage cream blazer and my Nina Ricci purse. Key item was the Tom Ford shield sunglasses from my sister which glammed up the look. It's a new look for me as I am either girly, rocker or glam...hope it worked!
